RCRA’s SHe-PRIME project integrates climate resilience into MH to address escalating climate challenges (floods, landslides, erratic rainfall) disrupting care for 1.23 million people, in hard-to-reach districts of Ntoroko & Kasese. A 2021 MOH report revealed 32% of pregnant women missed ANC during floods, while 47% of HCs closed temporarily due to climate disasters. She-PRIME’s climate-adaptive interventions include: Mobile Clinics: Delivered care to 3,000 women during 2023 floods, bypassing weather-disrupted infrastructure.
